You're reading the words of a happy girl at the moment - and the aforementioned girl is extremely happy because of three things:

I. The smell of the pages as she holds them to her face are new and yet faintly... musty. 

II. Her fingertips moisten if she touches new paper for too long - as though it is a lover she is abashed to make contact with. (Well, she supposes that in a way, she does regard magazines and books as such.) 

III. To cap things off perfectly, the true spirit of "well traveled" apparently consists of faded jeans, a brown notebook, and a film camera.

Also, the girl has just realized she has never shared any of her film photos due to laziness and that this must be remedied. She apologizes.
